Donate so we can get more PPE for our Front line workers. We have the right partner in Asia with FDA approved.
On Thursday March 26, the United States had the highest number of infected people with the coronavirus in the world. As citizens of this world we have a responsibility to support one another to live peacefully and safely in our homes and communities. How can we feel safe when our nurses, doctors and all healthcare personnel, who are in the front line fighting the coronavirus, do not have the right PPE ( personal protective equipment) and are in a constant state of vulnerability ? How can we remain bystanders and not take a stand to support them? Our government may have been slow in taking action to protect us but are we going to sit aside and remain silent witnesses?
In times like this, when the world is vulnerable and when people are at a loss at what action to take, humanity steps in and takes the place of business and politics. The sheer power of love and kindness of one human being for another is what can make an impact and difference in the number of lives saved.
With your help, Moonlight Humanity team members are ready to take the initiative to purchase PPE for our health care personnel and have already looked into finding reliable sources. Through our research we have found a source that has been FDA approved. We currently have 6000 medical masks and 5000 gloves, FDA approved and some other PPE and will be distributed to Santa Clara County hospitals and nationwide.
Please donate so we can donate more to our front lines heroes.
We are also asking our local seamstresses and oversee teachers and members of MH volunteer to sew masks from fabric. Although fabric is not FDA approved but CDC said it is better than nothing at all. Fabric can be provided by Moonlight Humanity.
This is the moment to step up and take a stand to help our fellow human beings. Let us look beyond our doorsteps and explore all the possible ways we can fight this novel virus and save lives. In this crucial time let us remember the words of JFK, “ Ask not what your country can do for you…..ask what you can do for your country.”
